Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District
40 Years of Protecting Open Space

To mark its 40th anniversary, the District and Heyday Books have collaborated on Room to Breathe, a book of photos, paintings, and poetry depicting the natural beauty and diversity of these landscapes. Room to Breathe is a community celebration of photographs, paintings, prose, and poetry—preserve users paying homage to the gift of wildness in our midst. It serves as a keepsake for those who know this land well; and for those who don’t, it will be a splendid introduction.
